No payment is necessary until you have been accepted. Payment is required prior to the program start date. If you need to cancel or defer participation, you must submit your request in writing more than 30 days before the start of the program to receive a full refund. Cancellations or deferrals received 14 to 30 days prior to the start of the program are subject to a fee of one-half of the program fee.

Requests received within 14 days are subject to full payment. A limited amount of partial scholarship funding may be available for qualified applicants from not-for-profit organizations. Please include a request for funding in your application.

The Advanced Management Program is a highly structured yet deeply personalized learning experience. Designed to spark self-reflection, innovation, and collaboration, this advanced leadership course features new global case studies, development of a personal case addressing a leadership challenge or strategic opportunity facing you and your company, and professional one-on-one coaching.

You will build the executive skills and global perspective to sustain both corporate and competitive advantage. Blended modular format — Four highly integrated modules are presented over 6 months, with 6 weeks of study on campus—two on-campus modules and two virtual, self-paced modules.

Blended continuous format — This program will take place over the course of 8 weeks with a mix of full-time, live online learning and on-campus learning. Both program formats provide the time and support you need to build trusting relationships with a group of peers outside your organization who not only can understand your challenges, but also can provide objective feedback.

Each day, you will gain new insights by:. You will assess your personal leadership strengths and weaknesses through a degree leadership and personality assessment. Our distinctive coaching method is highly integrated into the program to accelerate both individual and team growth. You and your peers will meet with your professional HBS executive coach to accelerate the living group process.

Your coach will also help you assess your personal leadership strengths and gaps through one-on-one sessions—one focused on your degree leadership and personality assessment at the start of the program and another focused on your reentry strategy following the program. All coaching sessions are strictly confidential, giving you the freedom to share your personal goals and professional challenges. Throughout the program you will work on developing a personal case.

Your personal case will involve building a comprehensive strategy and implementation plan that will address a personal leadership challenge or strategic opportunity facing your organization. As you develop your personal case, the faculty, your living group, and your HBS Executive Coach will deliver feedback that will help you fine-tune your action plan.
