After a delay of about three months, the windows and patio door were installed at my home. With the onset of winter, the problems really started. The new windows and patio door appear to offer very poor insulation: all winter long, the room where they are installed was far too cold to be usable with temperatures falling to about 8 - 15 C despite forced air heating.

All winter, the woodwork of the patio door and a half circle window were soaking wet from freeze thaw cycles and mold stains have started to appear. After repeated requests for corrective action and another delay of about 4 months, some weather stripping around the moving half of the patio door was replaced.
