Please note that we reserve the right to change our mind at any time such as if people start to take advantage of our good intentions and to update these Guidelines. So please don't count on these Guidelines always being here or in the specific form they are right now. We also want to make it clear that these Guidelines are for the community of Minecraft players and fans. They do not authorize commercial companies, corporate brands, advertising agencies, non-profits, or governments to use or exploit Minecraft for promoting products or services unrelated to Minecraft.
Above all we are trying to find a way to let our brilliant fans do great things for each other without others coming along and spoiling it for everyone. Examples of naming: "The Shaft - a Minecraft podcast" we're cool with that. To help you understand part of this and just so we are clear, regardless of anything else, YOU MAY NOT use the Name in or as the main or dominant name or title of any commercial product or service.
To help you understand this and just so we are clear, a Unique Design is something that adds enough personal creativity to make the work distinctive and original. Please be aware some destinations may either restrict, or have an import formality, for encrypted devices or certain encryption software and do not recognize a "personal use exemption".
Before traveling to certain countries with a Microsoft encryption controlled item consult with an export expert or visit the State Department International Travel site. Microsoft products with encryption are marketed and distributed in every country in the world, except those restricted under U.
A number of countries have laws on the books that could potentially affect the import or use of encryption, though many of these laws are interpreted so that they are not enforced against mass market software products. Some countries regulate the import or export of strong encryption software by either a system of waivers, Open General comprehensive or individual specific licenses.
All exporters must observe the specific licensing processes and policies of those countries. I paid for it and it is now my design to use. If your users are not paying for a subscription or any type of service from you, then you may allow them to use it.
However, you are fully responsible if they use the template or design you provided and sell it as their own. Those copyright infringement violations will be at your sole discretion. Therefore it is not a good idea to give these types of designs out for free. If you do, ensure that your user is aware of this and that they will be held liable if this happens.
Using a program like Canva is a great way for you to take advantage of a powerful graphic design hub without having to be a wiz at Adobe products. That being said, you should be extremely careful not to violate any of the terms and conditions of Canva, and do not resell digital designs that are not rightfully yours.
It would be a nightmare to have to litigate a copyright infringement case with such a large company and that would certainly tarnish your credibility and reputation in the creative community.
A proper legal analysis is necessary based on your location and contract. Consult an attorney in your home state for advice regarding your contract or specific legal situation. See our full disclaimer here. I will like some clarification. Starting on a blank slate on Canva can I use the text to write " Personal Shopper" underneath the words use a Canva graphic of a shopping bag.
